Seiko Watch Corporation is proud to announce that it will increase the worldwide warranty period to three years on Seiko brand timepieces* purchased at any authorized Seiko retailer. Taking effect from October 1, 2024, the new warranty** will continue to cover the watch head (movement and case) and metal bracelet. It will allow owners to share the company’s confidence in every Seiko creation’s long-lasting, reliable timekeeping.
The new warranty will also be applied to purchases between July 1 and September 30, 2024.
*This change does not apply to Stopwatch, and its warranty period remains unchanged.
** In the following cases, repair/adjustment service will be provided at cost even within the guarantee period or coverage.
1.Exchange of leather, urethane or fabric band
2.Trouble with or damage to the case, glass or band caused by accidents or improper usage
3.Trouble or damage caused by the repairs carried out by anyone other than a member of our service network
4.Scratches or grime caused by use
5.Trouble or damage caused by natural disasters including fire, flood or earthquake
6.When the text on the guaranteed booklet has been altered or missing store name or date of purchase in the certificate of guarantee
7.When the certificate of guarantee is not presented
8.Battery replacement
